Light in the Darkness
I get drawn in by details. The way the light falls on things. The way a sight can make you feel. Sometimes those details are so small you need to get in close. Other times they are so big you cant seem to get far back enough.
Oaxaca, Mexico, 2022
Spent a lovely week with some friends who moved to Oaxaca. Looking forward to visiting again. Chose to travel light and shoot iPhone only for this trip.
Incredible food, beautiful artwork, amazing artisans. Definitely worth visiting.
Northern Italy, 2021
Travel during the COVID pandemic was limited to non-existent, and come late 2021 my wife and I were feeling pretty cooped up. Although we had initially planned to travel to Oaxaca, we re-routed to Monza in Italy where COVID was pretty well controlled at this point. We got a chance to spend time with family, and even took a weekend trip to the stunning seaside towns in Cinque Terre National Park.
